Stephen C. Zumbrun concentrates his practice on energy and environmental litigation and transactional matters.

Prior to joining Blank Rome, Mr. Zumbrun practiced with a Pittsburgh area real estate law firm, where he focused on real estate, zoning, land use, and other transactional and litigation matters.

During law school, Mr. Zumbrun participated in the national environmental law moot court competition and received multiple academic and professional scholarships. He completed internships with the University of Pittsburgh Environmental Law Clinic, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, Neighborhood Legal Services Association, and the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh. He also received a focus of study certificate in environmental law and policy.

Mr. Zumbrun has participated in numerous leadership programs in Pittsburgh. He was part of the Allegheny County Bar Association’s bar leadership initiative and was formerly a board member of the Greenfield Community Association, a neighborhood nonprofit organization.
