Steve Townsend, an attorney in the firm’s Litigation Department, practices in the areas of product liability and commercial litigation (primarily in the financial services industry). He joined Goodwin Procter in 2001.

Mr. Townsend has traveled extensively to perform extended document/privilege reviews of highly sensitive client records. Mr. Townsend, who is fluent in Spanish and able to read Portuguese, French and Italian, has performed detailed analysis and translation of numerous foreign language documents. He also has expert knowledge of complex financial services records and practices, the result of a 14-year career in the Boston financial services industry prior to his becoming an attorney.
