Stephen Miklus concentrates his practice on commercial and structured finance transactions, with particular focus in the areas of project finance and debt financing. In the project finance area, his practice focuses on the development, financing and transfer of U.S. electric generation facilities and other infrastructure assets. In the bank finance area, Steve has extensive experience representing arrangers and senior lenders in secured and unsecured financings, with a particular focus on loans to office, retail, apartment, lodging and healthcare REITs and other real estate companies. He also regularly represents clients in leasing, credit enhancement, workout and restructuring transactions.

Steve has represented a wide variety of clients in complex transactions including developers of electric generation facilities and ethanol facilities; lessors and lessees of equipment in traditional, synthetic and leveraged-lease transactions; borrowers, underwriters and letter of credit providers in tax-exempt bond financings; and financial institutions in syndicated debt financings.
