Stephen M. Sullivan

Stephen Sullivan is a counsel in O’Melveny’s Los Angeles office and a member of the Health Care Practice and the White Collar Defense and Corporate Investigations Practice. Stephen regularly represents health care organizations in connection with regulatory, enforcement, and business matters. He frequently counsels clients with respect to both internal and government investigations and inquiries. Stephen also advises health care companies on complex strategic business challenges and opportunities, as well as a variety of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. He commonly counsels clients on matters involving state and federal anti-kickback laws, Stark laws, false claims laws, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement laws, state and federal privacy laws, and laws regulating managed care organizations. Stephen has substantial experience advising managed care organizations doing business with federal health care programs, including Medicare Advantage Plans, Prescription Drug Plans, and Medicaid Plans, on matters involving sales and marketing practices, risk adjustment reimbursement, and other areas affecting such organizations.
