Stephen Yang is an associate in the Employment Law Department of Paul Hastings. Mr. Yang represents employers with respect to wrongful discharge, discrimination and employee discipline matters, wage and hour claims, statutory compliance, and trade secret cases. He has engaged in management-side litigation before federal and state civil courts, federal and state administrative agencies, the National Labor Relations Board, and private arbitrators. He also counsels employers on a wide variety of employment matters including employee handbook and personnel policies, leave of absence issues, and union avoidance strategies.
Mr. Yang has organized and presented client seminars on recent employment law issues and has been a faculty speaker for a National Business Institute seminar on “Employee Leave Rights Under State and Federal Law – What Every California Employer Needs to Know.”
Mr. Yang received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings in May 1989. He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He was admitted into the State Bar of California in December, 1989.
