Steven Zuchelli is an associate practicing in the areas of real estate and energy and natural resources industries, with a particular emphasis on mineral title work and the development of the Marcellus Shale.

Steven has extensive experience in examining surface and oil and gas titles and drafting title opinions. He has performed mineral title due diligence for oil and gas acquisitions and has drafted a variety of title and ancillary agreements.

Steven has assisted in a wide range of real estate transactions. He has participated in several aspects of real estate lending and refinancing and has drafted a variety of traditional real estate and real estate financing documents. Steven's experience also includes analyzing Pennsylvania's recording statutes and real estate transfer taxation laws.

Steven has also assisted in several secured and unsecured financial transactions, particularly in the mineral industry. His experience includes drafting ancillary documents and conducting extensive due diligence analysis for national and super-regional banks.

Steven serves as the firm coordinator for the Homeless Experience Legal Protection (“HELP”) Clinic, a signature pro bono project in partnership with Mercy Hospital’s Operation Safety Net and Neighborhood Legal Services Association. He also serves on the board of the Chuck Cooper Foundation, a non-profit organization.

Steven was a 2007 summer associate in Buchanan's Pittsburgh office.
