Su Lian Lu

Su Lian Lu is a counsel in O'Melveny's Century City office and a member of the Capital Markets Practice. Su's primary practice focuses on advising companies on compliance with securities laws, SEC reporting and disclosure requirements, Section 16, Regulation 13D-G and Rule 144 issues. She also assists companies in corporate governance matters including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, NASDAQ and New York Stock Exchange requirements. She has represented U.S. and foreign issuers in public debt and equity offerings, including IPOs, secondary and shelf offerings and private placements, including pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S.

Prior to joining O'Melveny, Su practiced at one of the leading international law firms in New York, and a leading national law firm in Los Angeles, where she represented U.S. public companies and foreign private issuers in connection with their SEC reporting and capital raising transactions.

Representing a brokerage subsidiary of a NYSE-listed insurance company on a joint venture transaction to create a U.S. brokerage firm with combined assets of $537 billion.
Representing an insurance company in its listing on the NYSE and its initial public offering valued above $800 million.
Representing a Brazilian based bank in connection with all its SEC reporting, its secondary global offering of units and its Rule 144A/Regulation S offering of $200 million of step-up callable notes.
