Susan Lichtenfeld concentrates her practice on corporate finance and corporate and lease transactions with particular emphasis in the transportation and manufacturing industries.

For more than 35 years, Susan has represented major domestic and multinational companies on a variety of matters, including advising lenders, lessors, railroads, manufacturers and others in the special problems involved in the manufacturing, purchase, sale, lease, and financing of railroad equipment and rail lines. She represents both private and publically held entities.

For her clients, Susan regularly negotiates, documents and renders advice with respect to single investor and leveraged lease financings of railcars and locomotives, special regulatory problems relating to the ownership and use of such equipment, and the purchase and sale of portfolio positions by financial institutions involving leased and non-leased railroad equipment. She is also experienced in the negotiation and documentation of supply agreements, both domestic and international, for manufacturers and remanufacturers.
