Susan Andersen is a litigator in Dykema's Los Angeles office. Ms. Andersen has extensive litigation experience in products and premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, construction site accidents, asbestos and mold claims and general negligence actions. She has represented original equipment manufacturers (OEMS) and suppliers in jury trials, court trials, arbitrations and mediations. She is also certified by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.

Immediately after law school, Ms. Andersen served as a research attorney for Los Angeles Court Judges. Thereafter she continued her career at an insurance defense firm where she supervised the Law & Motion Department and started defending OEMS and component part manufacturers. She then continued her career with a products liability firm in Los Angeles for several years.

For the last decade she worked as a Senior Trial Attorney handling her own caseloads as an attorney successfully defending insureds of a large national insurance company, including vehicle retailers and component part manufacturers as well as restaurants, retailers, trucking companies, general and sub-contractors and other commercial defendants.
