Susan Elgin represents businesses in employment litigation and advises clients in the area of employment law. Susan represents employers in state and federal courts, and before state and federal administrative agencies. Her experience includes defending employers in cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, minimum wage and overtime violations, and leave and disability laws. She works on single-plaintiff cases and complex class and collective matters.

Susan also partners with management, in-house counsel and human resources professionals to create practical and effective strategies for resolving employment issues, implementing best practices and minimizing risk. She offers guidance on a wide range of workplace issues, including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and similar state laws.

In addition to employment litigation, Susan handles a range of issues for communications and media clients. Her experience includes defending libel suits and obtaining media access to court proceedings.
