Suzanne Graeser is the West Coast Chair of the firm-wide Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Group. Her practice focuses on start-up and later-stage emerging-growth companies and venture capital investment. She represents clients in a variety of sectors, with an emphasis in life sciences, technology and renewable energy.

Ms. Graeser counsels companies throughout their life cycle, including entity formation, debt and equity financings, joint ventures, equity incentive compensation and mergers and acquisitions. She also regularly advises venture capital firms, angel investors and strategic corporate investors in connection with all stages of investment in start-up companies, as well as liquidity and exit strategies.

In addition to her core corporate practice acting as outside general counsel to emerging growth entities, Ms. Graeser has extensive experience representing limited liability companies and limited partnerships in their structuring, formation, funding, and operations. She also advises companies and investors in connection with complex merger and joint venture structuring and financing and exit alternatives.

Ms. Graeser is a former Chair and current advisor of the Executive Committee of the Business Law Section ("BLS") of the California State Bar. She was formerly Co-Chair of the Corporations Committee of the BLS and an Advisor to the Business Law News, BLS's quarterly publication on business law issues.
