Brendan Kennedy has a wide-ranging practice that encompasses commercial and regulatory litigation, corporate governance and compliance, risk assessment and monitoring and internal investigations.

His litigation practice includes the defense of pharmaceutical, heavy equipment, and automobile manufacturers in product liability, warranty, and mass tort matters and the representation of telecommunications companies, financial institutions, managed care organizations, and a host of national, regional and local businesses in the defense and prosecution of lawsuits arising out of commercial transactions.

In the area of corporate governance and compliance, he has advised companies with respect to the development and implementation of compliance and risk management programs and in complex matters involving, among other things, data security and privacy, financial controls, anti-corruption, policies and procedures, and records management.

Across a broad array of industrial sectors, Brendan has conducted internal investigations and represented companies in voluntary disclosures to regulators and enforcement officials. He has advised companies working with corporate monitors and independent consultants and serves as counsel to Penn State University Athletics Integrity Monitor George Mitchell.
