Tala Gardner is an of counsel in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. She focuses her practice on real estate transactions and specializes in structuring complex transactions, sales/acquisitions, leasing, and creative forms of financing including New Markets Tax Credits (“NMTC”), Tax Increment Financings, Public/Private Partnerships, and public finance including taxable and tax exempt bonds. She has extensive experience representing sellers, borrowers, financial institutions, purchasers, and other clients in their commercial real estate, commercial, and community development related borrowing activities, including acquisition and construction loans.

She has represented clients in connection with a variety of projects including mixed use, retail, office, residential, manufacturing, warehouse, healthcare, hotels, sports arenas, and headquarters projects. She also assists universities, colleges, private schools, and charter schools in their financing and real estate projects.
