Tamara Marinkovic Hines

Tamara Marinkovic Hines' practice focuses on securities and corporate governance litigation, internal corporate investigations, as well as complex business litigation. She has experience in federal court securities fraud class actions, state court securities actions, and both individual and class actions by tax authorities against online travel companies.

Tamara is part of a team that has successfully won securities cases through motions to dismiss under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act and motions for summary judgment. She plays a key role as part of national coordinating counsel for multijurisdictional litigation involving the online travel industry. Her clients include Bridgestone/Firestone, Electronic Data Systems, Expedia, Hotels.com, Hotwire, and Michaels Stores.

Tamara is a Fellow of the Dallas Bar Foundation and recent past chair of the Dallas Bar Association's Corporate Counsel Section. She participates in various community activities, is a member of the Big Thought board, former member of both the AVANCE-Dallas board and the Southern Methodist University alumni board, and is a graduate of the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Dallas Program. In the international arena, Tamara is a member of the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations and was twice selected to The Council for the United States and Italy's Young Leaders Conference. She is also a Fellow of the British American Project of the Royal Institute of International Affairs in London and the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
