Tameka Phillips is an associate in the Litigation practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Atlanta office.

Ms. Phillips' practice focuses on complex civil litigation. She has represented businesses in the manufacturing, publishing and financial industries against class action, contract and tort claims. Ms. Phillips has had primary responsibility for several key aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, propounding and responding to discovery, taking depositions and arguing motions. Ms. Phillips also has appellate practice experience in both state and federal courts, including drafting and arguing appellate briefs and motions. Recently, Ms. Phillips successfully argued a purported class action case before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Ms. Phillips obtained her B.A. in Philosophy and Communication Studies, with honors, from the University of Alabama in 2003. Ms. Phillips earned her J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2009. While in law school, she was a Virginia Law Scholar and an executive board member of the renowned Center for the Study of Race and the Law. She is admitted to practice law in Georgia.
