Tammy's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including antitrust, class actions, multidistrict litigation and consumer finance litigation.

Tammy has participated in the handling of antitrust matters in federal courts and before arbitration tribunals. Her cases have involved price fixing, market allocation, tying arrangements, cartels, monopolization, attempted monopolization, Robinson-Patman Act claims, and antitrust conspiracies.

Tammy has also represented numerous clients in the consumer financial services industry. Recently, she has been litigating a series of consumer financial class action lawsuits across the United States arising out of the foreclosure crisis. Her experience includes defending class action and individual claims related to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and various state consumer fraud and unfair business practices statutes; and counseling clients on compliance with applicable federal and state statutes and regulations.

She also has experience in insurer liquidation proceedings, insurance coverage and defense, director and officer liability, auditor liability, and bankruptcy preference actions.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Tammy was a staff attorney in the Office of the Special Deputy Receiver for the State of Illinois.
