Ted Apple PhD

Ted Apple focuses his practice on patent acquisition and counseling in the Health and Life Sciences industry. He prosecutes patents for clients in the U.S. and abroad, and provides patentability, patent validity, infringement, and freedom-to-operate counseling to assist clients in business planning. Dr. Apple also conducts portfolio analysis in connection with licensing and venture capital financing.

Dr. Apple has experience in a number of technical and legal areas, including molecular biology, immunology, genetics, pharmaceutical formulation and re-purposing strategies, biologics, diagnostics, and microfluidics.

Prior to practicing law, Dr. Apple was a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Cardiovascular Research at Genentech, Inc.
