Tennille is a litigator and a member of the firm’s appeals and issues team. She focuses her practice on general and bankruptcy-related appellate matters, multi-jurisdictional litigation, and toxic tort and environmental cases. She handles cases on appeal and at the trial level in state and federal courts throughout the country. Most recently, Tennille has been handling several bankruptcy-related appeals in the Fifth Circuit and coordinating and litigating the defense of nearly 300 environmental tort cases in nine different jurisdictions in Missouri.

In addition, Tennille has handled securities and derivative litigation and numerous commercial torts and contract and business disputes. She also conducts litigation monitoring to address appellate and business concerns and advises corporations concerning compliance with federal and state statutes as well as investigations and enforcement actions by state and federal agencies, including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Tennille clerked for the Honorable Barbara S. Jones, U.S. District Court of the Southern District of New York, from 2001 to 2002. She was a Jefferson Scholar at the University of Virginia, where she lived on the Lawn during her Fourth Year.
