Terence Ross is a partner in the Intellectual Property practice.

Terry Ross is a trial lawyer with more than 25 years experience representing clients in civil lawsuits involving intellectual property, media and tehcnology. He has tried more than 20 cases to a verdict, including winning a recent $919 million damage award in a trade secret misappropriation lawsuit. Terry also has extensive appellate experience having made oral argument to the Supreme Court of Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Terry has broad experience in various types of intellectual property disputes, including trademark infringement, patent infringement, copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation, false advertising, and First Amendment lititgation. He has been repeatedly named as one of the nation's top IP litigators by a variety of publications and organizations. Terry currently is a partner in the law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP.
