Terry Childers is a transactional and business lawyer with a focus on securities compliance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and private equity. Mr. Childers represents public and private company clients, private business owners and funds in the healthcare, energy, financial services, real estate, technology and industrial/manufacturing industries.

Mergers & Acquisitions. Mr. Childers advises clients on mergers, acquisitions and divestiture transactions; joint venture and other strategic transactions; corporate governance and formation matters; contractual matters; and general business and securities law counseling matters.

Private Equity. Mr. Childers represents both investors and issuers in all aspects of private equity finance transactions, including fund formation, management buyouts and all stages of investment from seed investments to recapitalizations.

Securities. Mr. Childers counsels publicly held companies on public reporting requirements under federal securities law, shareholder communications, and the preparation and filing of other reports and information with the Securities and Exchange Commission. In addition, Mr. Childers advises clients on capital market transactions, including senior note offerings, IPOs, at the market equity offerings and direct stock purchase programs.
