Terry E. Newman concentrates his practice in real estate taxation, specifically ad valorem tax litigation. With more than 30 years of experience, Terry has represented a variety of real estate clients and all types of properties throughout the country. Prior to joining the firm in 1981, Terry was a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney in the Criminal Division.
Terry is involved in numerous professional, charitable and civic activities. He is a member of the Museum of Science and Industry Board of Trustees and is a life director of After School Matters. He has also formerly served as chairman of the Illinois Housing Development Authority, vice president of the Chicago Cultural Center Foundation and been a member of the Board of Trustees of both the City Colleges of Chicago and Loyola University Chicago.
