Thaddeus J. Malik (Thad) is a partner in the Corporate Department of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Chicago office. He has a wide-ranging practice with a focus on M&A, securities and private equity transactions, as well as general corporate and securities counseling.

Mr. Malik has extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, strategic investments and joint ventures in a variety of industries, including defense and aerospace, publishing, software development, gaming and financial and shareholder services. His international experience includes transactions throughout the EU and China. He also represents committees of independent directors, including audit, compensation and special investigative committees, on various matters.
