Tom Meriam is chair of Goodwin Procter's Business Law Department in New York, a member of Goodwin's Private Equity Group and co-chair of the firm's Food Industry Group, which counsels clients and provides strategic advice to a wide range of food and supplements businesses. Mr. Meriam has broad experience representing clients in all aspects of the buyout market, including buyers, sellers, co-investors, and lenders, both senior and subordinated, secured and unsecured. He also has extensive experience in off-balance sheet leasing, securitization of assets, tax exempt financing, leveraged leasing and issues involving mass transportation. Mr. Meriam joined Goodwin Procter in 2006.
