Thomas J. Lloyd is an associate in Latham & Watkins' Silicon Valley office where he is a member of the Emerging Companies Practice and Corporate Department. Mr. Lloyd represents emerging companies, venture capital firms, investment banks and individual founders involved in the technology, life sciences and cleantech industries. Mr. Lloyd provides general representation to public and private companies that spans a wide variety of matters, including consultation with founders, officers, stockholders and directors on corporate formation, financing, employment and equity incentives, commercial and technology agreements, fiduciary duties, public disclosure and reporting issues and compliance with federal and state securities laws. Mr. Lloyd also advises with respect to transactional matters that include mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments and public and private equity offerings, such as venture capital financings as well as public offerings.

Mr. Lloyd received his JD in 2009 from University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall) where he was the Executive Editor of External Relations for the Berkeley Technology Law Journal.
