Thomas Haskins is a partner in Barnes & Thornburg’s Dallas office and a member of the Litigation Department. His practice focuses on advising individuals and companies on a wide range of legal and business issues. As a trial litigator with experience in domestic and international litigation and alternative dispute resolution, Mr. Haskins has handled general commercial matters and white collar criminal defense. He also handles matters involving international arbitration, antitrust regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions litigation, labor disputes, securities litigation and intellectual property.

In addition to his work with major corporate entities, Mr. Haskins also counsels startup companies and entrepreneurs on the wide array of issues faced by emerging businesses, advising young companies on the best position for long-term growth and success. Mr. Haskins has a unique perspective on entrepreneurship, allowing him to blend transactional and litigation insights when counselling entrepreneurs and early-stage companies

Mr. Haskins, who spent his early career with a major international law firm, also advises his clients on compliance with the Office of Foreign Assets Control programs and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. He is well-situated to cover large, complex litigations and investigations, and he has handled such matters for several of the world’s largest corporations and financial institutions.
