Thomas M. "Tim" Kittredge is a senior counsel in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Kittredge has conducted a diverse commercial litigation practice covering a wide range of areas, including legal malpractice, securities fraud, civil rights matters, breach of contracts claims and class actions. The majority of the class action cases Mr. Kittredge has handled have involved securities law claims in which he represented defendant underwriters, issuers, management or large shareholders.

Other types of class actions in which Mr. Kittredge has been involved have constituted a variety of claims, including civil rights actions such as the Pennhurst case. In Pennhurst, the class consisted of all mentally retarded persons in southeastern Pennsylvania, which was argued and reargued in the U.S. Supreme Court on three occasions. He has also handled an action on behalf of 15,000 pensioned anthracite coal miners, whom the firm represented against the United Mine Workers of America for misconduct in the management of their pension fund, and defended an action on behalf of tens of thousands of insureds under Medicare Supplement health insurance policies against the insurer for failure properly to pay claims. The balance of Mr. Kittredge's practice consists of general commercial litigation, usually involving breach of contract claims covering a variety of subjects, such as the sale of goods, unfair competition, the acquisition of businesses, and, to a lesser extent, product liability actions of various kinds.

Mr. Kittredge is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
