Thomas N. Lawson

Tom Lawson has been an active tax law practitioner for over 37 years, and returned to the firm in 2005. His practice focuses on the representation of individuals and their businesses in connection with income and wealth transfer tax planning. He also does sophisticated tax planning for business transactions. During his prior tenure as a partner at Loeb & Loeb from 1987 to 1996, he served as chair of the firm’s tax department and was a member of the firm’s management and compensation committees.

Mr. Lawson is a frequent author and lecturer on tax-related subjects, including at the University of Southern California Federal Tax Institute on multiple occasions.
