Thomas Hechl is of counsel in our Washington, D.C. office and a member of our Infrastructure, Energy, Resources and Projects practice. Thomas advises on complex emerging markets project finance, private equity, and direct lending transactions and restructurings.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Thomas was general counsel for a group of emerging markets private equity funds after having been partner at leading international law firms in Washington, D.C., Paris, and Vienna, where he led teams on many groundbreaking emerging markets transactions and restructurings around the world, including in Africa, Asia, CEE, and the Middle East. He advised on a number of project finance transactions that received Deal of the Year Awards.
