Dan Cushing's practice focuses on the representation of corporations and their officers and directors against fraud and corruption-related allegations. His experience includes advising clients on regulatory compliance issues, conducting internal investigations, and defending against government investigations.

Dan has represented companies and their audit committees in connection with internal investigations relating to alleged FCPA violations, accounting fraud, disclosure issues, and insider trading. He is also experienced in defending clients in securities fraud class actions, shareholder derivative actions, and SEC enforcement investigations. In addition, he has extensive experience with banking and finance litigation, energy litigation, and litigation arising in the context of mergers and acquisitions.

Dan is an active member of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association and serves as secretary for the Young Professionals of Heart House Dallas, a nonprofit educational program for low-income youth in Dallas.
