Tigran Guledjian

Tigran Guledjian practices extensively in complex intellectual property litigation with an emphasis in high technology patent litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Tigran has tried cases, litigated, and advised clients in such technologies as piezo-electric printer heads and ink jet cartridges; printer interfaces; on-line transfer of music and video; satellite solar arrays and systems; jet engine propulsion systems, including turbine blade technology; automotive air bag systems; hard-drive coatings; surface emitting lasers; high bandwidth fiber optic cables, transceivers and connectors; free ink writing instruments; CD and DVD duplication; therapeutic bath and spa technology; sports and athletic equipment; snack food designs; and large-scale earth moving machinery including bucket and teeth technology, among others. Tigran is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office which allows him to counsel clients in developing their overall patent portfolio and intellectual property enforcement strategy. In 2008, 2009 and 2010, Super Lawyers Magazine selected Tigran to “Southern California Rising Stars.”

Prior to entering law, Tigran worked as an aerospace engineer and operations analyst for Rockwell International (now Boeing) in its North American Aviation Division on projects involving aircraft weapons systems, military strategy and warfare simulation, and conversion of the Air Force supersonic B-1B aircraft from a nuclear to a conventional bomber, under various levels of DOD security clearance. As a team leader of the Cal Poly Solar Energy Team where he designed the award winning and pole-position qualifying Intrepid Too solar vehicle, Tigran also has considerable hands-on experience in manufacturing methods of solar arrays and composite structures, involving materials such as carbon fiber, Kevlar and fiberglass, as well as the application of resins, adhesives and autoclave manufacturing methods.
