Timothy J. Dable

Tim Dable is a corporate partner in the firm’s Chicago office who concentrates his practice in corporate finance and capital markets.

Mr. Dable represents financial institutions, corporate clients, and institutional investors in connection with the documentation and negotiation of a variety of credit facilities, including large cap, middle market, cash flow and asset-backed transactions, cross-border facilities and all types of senior, subordinated, second lien, mezzanine and unitranche financings. In addition, Mr. Dable has represented clients in a wide range of workouts and restructurings, both in and out of bankruptcy.

He also advises asset managers, funds, banks and financial institutions in connection with the purchase and sale of par and distressed assets in the primary and secondary domestic and international markets, including debt and equity interests and bankruptcy trade claims.

Mr. Dable received a B.S. in Economics from the University of Michigan in 1990. He received a J.D. from the Washington University School of Law in 1993, where he was a member of Order of the Coif and executive notes and comments editor for the Washington University Law Quarterly.
Activities

Mr. Dable is an active member of the Loan Syndications and Trading Association and serves on several of its committees and working groups. He also is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, the Association for Corporate Growth and the British-American Business Council, Chicago. Mr. Dable also serves as a board member of the Evanston Wilmette Community Golf Course Association.
