Toby Serkin’s practice primarily focuses on the representation of both open-end and closed-end funds, investment advisers, and fund directors. Her practice includes organizing and providing ongoing advice to offshore funds for non-U.S. investors and other private investment funds.

Toby also represents lenders and funds in a wide variety of financing transactions, including loans to registered investment companies, hedge funds, offshore funds and other investment vehicles.

Toby advises clients on a wide variety of regulatory and compliance issues. She has also been involved in a number of special projects, including playing a significant role in the review of compliance programs for both major mutual fund advisers and smaller fund complexes. In addition, Toby has had significant involvement in a number of fund reorganizations and acquisitions of fund advisers.
