Todd B. Pfister is a senior partner and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP, where he practices primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities law and general corporate and business law. He has extensive experience counseling senior management and boards of directors, as well as structuring and negotiating transactions, in various industries, including finance, health care, insurance, information technology and manufacturing. He has represented both issuers and underwriters in numerous public and private offerings of debt and equity securities and regularly counsels both public and private companies regarding corporate governance and compliance matters. Mr. Pfister is a member of the firm's Transactional & Securities and Private Equity & Venture Capital Practices.

Mr. Pfister has served as company or special committee counsel in connection with going private and other strategic transactions. He also has significant experience assisting in the organization, development and financing of start-up and development stage companies. Mr. Pfister is a founding member of the Chicago Chapter of Entrepreneur Commons, a not-for-profit peer-support group for entrepreneurs.
