Traci Dreher Quigley

Traci Dreher Quigley is an associate in the Life Sciences practice group and a member of the Cooley Business department. She joined the Firm in 2004 and is resident in the Palo Alto office.

Ms. Quigley's practice involves the representation of biotechnology, medical device and other life science companies in a wide range of intellectual property and technology-based transactions, including licensing, corporate partnering, technology development, and clinical trials.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Quigley worked at an emerging bioinformatics company in its business development and marketing departments. Previous to that, she was a consultant in the Strategic Services group at Accenture where she evaluated and defined financial, strategic, and operational improvements for several healthcare and life science companies.

Ms. Quigley received her JD, cum laude, in 2004 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she served as an Associate Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While at the University of Pennsylvania, she authored a comment, Commercialization of the State University: Why the Intellectual Property Protection Restoration Act of 2003 is Necessary, 152 University of Pennsylvania Law Review 2001 (2004) and co-authored Improvements for Handling Improvement Clauses in IP Licenses: An Analytical Framework, 20 Santa Clara Computer & High Technology Law Journal 577 (with Ken Dow) (2004).

Ms. Quigley received her BA degree in Public Policy Studies, summa cum laude, and a certificate in Health Policy in 1998 from Duke University. While at Duke, she worked as a research assistant at the Center for Health Policy, Law & Management.

Ms. Quigley is a member of the State Bar of California.
