Tracy Schaffer's practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts and arbitral forums in New York and throughout the U.S. She has represented companies in all aspects of complex commercial litigation, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, tortious interference, misappropriation of trade secrets, and lawsuits involving contests for corporate control and mergers and acquisitions. Tracy also has represented companies and individuals in enforcement proceedings and investigations by the New York Stock Exchange and the Securities and Exchange Commission. In addition, she has experience in antitrust, construction, false advertising, patent, and product liability litigation.

Tracy has taken on several pro bono representations throughout her career, including litigating child abduction cases under the Hague Convention. In 2012, she tried and won a child abduction case in federal court in Pennsylvania, and reunited a father with his 12-year-old daughter.

Tracy has written legal columns for law.com, has presented to her colleagues at the Firm on numerous legal topics, and currently serves as the Litigation Assignment Partner in the New York Office and as a practice mentor for first-year associates.
