Travis E. Vanderpool

Prior to shifting the primary emphasis of his practice to mediation and other Alternative Dispute Resolution forms, Travis was a trial and appellate attorney with experience in a broad spectrum of civil litigation since 1974. His training as a mediator coupled with his years of experience in litigation and the mediation process, make him particularly qualified for service as a mediator and in other alternative dispute resolution roles.

Travis served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the State Bar of Texas in 2007-2008 and as a member of the Board from 2005-2009.

Travis’ initial years were spent in insurance defense cases ranging from ordinary personal injury to complex architect and engineer malpractice claims.

Before law school, Travis served as a fighter pilot and flight instructor for six years in the United States Air Force and served a combat tour in Vietnam.
