Travis Sales has extensive experience with products liability, energy, commercial and pension matters. Mr. Sales served as President of the Houston Bar Association (2008-2009) and as a Director of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Sales has represented pharmaceutical companies in defense of state Medicaid fraud claims brought by Attorneys General. Mr. Sales has defended energy and chemical companies in high profile commercial disputes, including defending significant matters brought by the Mexican national oil company against several U.S. energy and chemical companies related to claims of conversion of millions of dollars of alleged stolen hydrocarbons. He has represented defendants in nationwide and state consumer class actions. He represents pharmaceutical companies in product liability actions, including several mass tort actions and multi-district litigations. Mr. Sales has represented numerous large and small companies in complex commercial and contract disputes, both as plaintiffs and defendants. Mr. Sales also represents the Houston Municipal Employees Pension System and the Houston Firefighters Relief and Retirement Fund in significant litigation against the City of Houston.
