Travis Kearbey practices primarily in the areas of labor and employment law and is a member of the Labor and Employment Client Service Group. Mr. Kearbey's labor law experience includes representing clients in grievance arbitrations, in litigation arising under the Labor Management Relations Act, and in matters before the National Labor Relations Board. His employment litigation experience includes representing employers in defense of claims of retaliation, and age, disability, race, national origin, religion and sex discrimination, as well as, claims of Fair Labor Standards Act and Family Medical Leave Act violations. Moreover, Mr. Kearbey has handled matters before numerous administrative agencies, including the EEOC, MCHR, and the OFCCP. Mr. Kearbey also has commercial litigation experience, including the representation of clients in breach of contract and fraud actions, and claims arising under the Missouri Merchandizing Practices Act.
In addition to his work with the firm, Mr. Kearbey has in-house counsel experience, working as Senior Counsel, Labor and Employment, for a Fortune 100 company.
