Travis Biffar focuses his practice on commercial litigation, with a strong emphasis on securities and corporate governance issues.

He has represented public and private companies, directors, officers, and employees in matters arising under federal and state securities laws, including shareholder class and derivative actions, merger litigation, and SEC investigations. He has significant experience defending against "stock drop" class actions brought under federal securities laws and related derivative claims brought under state fiduciary duty laws. He also has conducted internal investigations in conjunction with shareholder derivative claims and has defended against several merger "bump-up" actions alleging unfair price and unfair dealing.

Travis is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Orange County chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He joined Jones Day after practicing law for more than six years with another Am Law 100 firm.
