Treaves Williams
is an attorney in King and Spalding’s Discovery Center and is a member of the Tort Litigation and Environmental Practice Group. Ms. Williams focuses her practice on discovery related matters involving the representation of pharmaceutical, automobile, and welding product manufacturers as well as commercial and healthcare companies in state and federal cases.
Ms. Williams received her J.D. from Georgia State College of Law in 1998. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. She graduated, with honors, from Georgia State University in 1992 with a B.B.A. in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia.
Representative Experience
Coordinated and assisted in the management of a team of 75 attorneys and 11 paralegals related to the drafting of over 530 pre-trial motions and responses in a mass tort product liability program for a pharmaceutical company. Conducted legal research and drafted pre-trial motions for complex litigation in the mass tort program.
Coordinated and assisted in the supervision of a team of 8 attorneys and 1 paralegal related to the drafting of responses to interrogatories and request for document production for over 30 cases concerning personal injury proceedings throughout the country.
Coordinated and supervised a review of over 100,000 documents for a pharmaceutical company in response to a subpoena from the U.S. Department of Justice.
Coordinated and supervised a review of over 30,000 documents in connection with a semi-annual production for a welding manufacturer.
Assisted in an electronic analysis to identify duplicate documents for consistent identification of responsiveness, confidentiality, significance, and privilege for an automobile manufacturer in response to a subpoena from the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Assisted in the review of documents for a logistics company in response to discovery requests in connection with a third party subpoena duces tecum concerning Trade Secret and Breach of Fiduciary Duty.
Assisted with the preparation of privilege logs and drafting of witness affidavits for a pharmaceutical company.
Litigation Technology Experience
Ms. Williams has supervised and trained attorney review teams and has knowledge and experience of document review and litigation support systems including FTI’s Ringtail, Summation IBlaze, Kroll’s On Track Inview, Relativity, Cataphora, Case Central, CaseMap, Concordance, Ernst & Young’s “Tree”, IPro, and Microsoft Access.
