Uni Li is a counsel in Alston & Bird’s Washington, D.C. and Beijing offices, where he focuses on representing exporters in responding to antidumping or countervailing duty investigations and customs investigations, and advises clients regarding economic sanctions, export controls and OFAC compliance.

Mr. Li frequently advises Chinese companies on general corporate issues and outbound investment matters, including business incorporations, foreign direct investment, loan financing, engineering procurement and construction projects. He also assists foreign companies, often in collaboration with local Chinese law firms, on regulatory and transactional issues pertaining to their investments in China.

Mr. Li’s U.S. litigation experience includes representing Chinese clients in contract disputes, product liability litigation and international arbitration with their U.S. counterparts. He also has experience representing clients in white collar crime and internal investigations.
