Victor Liu is an associate in Morrison & Foerster’s Patent Group. Mr. Liu’s practice focuses on patent prosecution, reexaminations, litigation support and due diligence. His areas of technical emphasis include computer related hardware and software, semiconductor devices and processing, integrated circuit design, networking and communication systems, and clean technology.
Mr. Liu brings over ten years of engineering experience to his patent practice. His industry experience includes technical roles in integrated circuit product development, semiconductor fabrication, bio-chip development and fiber optic components manufacturing. Mr. Liu’s experience in the high-tech industry enables him to effectively understand the technical aspects of inventions as well as the related business issues that surround them.
Mr. Liu earned his J.D., cum laude, from Santa Clara University School of Law, where he attended on a full scholarship as an Intellectual Property Fellow. He received his M.S. in electrical engineering from Columbia University and his B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. Liu is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is a member of the California State Bar.
