Victoria J. Miller

Victoria J. Miller is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Ms. Miller focuses her practice on advising clients and litigating serial mass tort cases and complex construction and product defect claims. She has broad experience representing clients in mass tort and product liability litigation. She defends major corporate clients on national coordinating counsel teams in high-profile, multi-jurisdictional mass tort cases. She has managed all aspects of litigation, including implementing defense strategies, developing cross-jurisdictional expert analysis, coordinating local counsel, and implementing cost-effective defense strategies across serial litigation cases. For example, Ms. Miller has litigated and managed cases for a major food ingredient manufacturer in serial product liability matters pending in state and federal courts in multiple jurisdictions throughout the country. She has also litigated serial mass tort and product liability cases arising from workplace and public exposures in multiple jurisdictions for major pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturers.

In addition, Ms. Miller litigates construction cases on behalf of owners, contractors, and subcontractors in disputes involving domestic and international projects. These matters have and currently involve, for example, construction and design defect, catastrophic failure, project delay, product defects, and water infiltration and mold exposure. A representative list of Ms. Miller's work for construction stakeholders includes national and international building owners, domestic power suppliers, national home builders, prefabricated metal building manufacturers, national demolition contractors, and international construction equipment manufacturers. She handles all aspects of complex litigation, from inception through resolution, whether by early favorable settlement, dismissal through motion practice, mediation, arbitration, or trial.

Ms. Miller writes and speaks to client groups on contract negotiation and litigation strategy and avoidance. In addition to her representations for clients, Ms. Miller serves as deputy group leader of the Litigation Practice in Morgan Lewis's Philadelphia Office.

Ms. Miller received the firm’s Pro Bono Services Award in 2003 for her work in successfully advocating for a high school student’s rights pursuant to the American with Disabilities Act.

Ms. Miller received her J.D., with honors, from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden in 1999. While in law school, she was the state constitutional law editor for The Rutgers Law Journal. She received her B.S. in medical technology from Douglass College, Rutgers University in 1975.

Ms. Miller is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
