Walt Davis has a broad range of experience in complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts. His practice primarily emphasizes securities and corporate governance matters. Walt also counsels corporate boards, board committees, and senior management in connection with governmental and internal investigations, and he has significant experience handling insider trading, accounting, privacy, and corporate compliance matters, among others. In addition, Walt has experience handling a wide range of business disputes, including contract and fraud litigation, consumer protection disputes, and eminent domain litigation. Among other representations, he has worked closely with The Attachmate Group, CSX Corporation, Cumulus Media, Eastman Chemical Company, Flowers Foods, Koch Industries, and Georgia Gulf Corporation.

Walt is a member of the Securities Litigation Subcommittee of the Atlanta Bar Association, the Securities Litigation and Corporate Governance Sections of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, and the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Walt is active in the Atlanta community, where he serves on the Board of Directors of Make-A-Wish Foundation of Georgia, the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, and the Alumni Association of Mercer University's College of Liberal Arts. He is a graduating member of L.E.A.D. Atlanta, Class of 2007. Walt has been named a "Rising Star" in the area of Securities Litigation by Georgia Super Lawyers magazine (2013) and was selected by the Fulton County Daily Report for its list of "40 Legal Rising Stars to Watch" in Georgia ("On The Rise: Georgia's 40 Under 40" - August 2013).
