Warren has extensive experience handling complex commercial litigation in a variety of areas including patent and intellectual property disputes, federal and state securities claims, professional malpractice and commercial contract disputes.

His experience includes the defense of accounting firms against claims of professional malpractice, and the defense of financial institutions and their management. He has handled patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret and other intellectual property litigation. He has tried trademark and other intellectual property cases both with and without juries, including the successful defense of manufacturers against trade dress infringement claims.

Warren has taught at the University of Richmond Law School as an adjunct professor of law. He is also a former chair of the commercial litigation department and a former member of the Board of Partners.
