Wesley R. Helmholz,
an associate in the Silicon Valley office, is a member of the technology transactions and licensing practice and the Technology Companies Group. Mr. Helmholz’s practice focuses on negotiating commercial and technology transactions and intellectual property counseling. Mr. Helmholz also has experience in IP and patent litigation.
During law school, Mr. Helmholz externed for the Honorable Judge Ronald M. Whyte of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, drafting orders on patent law issues and other civil matters.
Prior to law school, Mr. Helmholz worked as an industrial engineer for the Boeing Company. There, he worked in Final Assembly & Delivery on Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner, helping to design and streamline the airplane’s build sequence. During his time at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, Mr. Helmholz studied industrial engineering and mathematics.
