William A. Tanenbaum is Co-Head of the Technology Transaction practice at Arent Fox, the leader of the Health Care IT section, and a partner in the Corporate & Securities practice. He is a Past President of the International Technology Law Association. Bill’s practice focuses on technology, cybersecurity and intellectual property, with an emphasis on IT and IP transactions, Health Care IT, outsourcing, data transactions, cloud services, strategic intellectual property counseling, and the technology and IP aspects of corporate transactions. He advises clients on upgrading computer systems and integrating cloud, mobile, social media, Big Data and the Internet of Things into existing IT systems.

In 2016, Bill was named as one of the Top Five IT Lawyers in the U.S. by Who’s Who Legal, and recognized as one of the “Leading Lawyers in Outsourcing in Chambers Global. He was previously named “Lawyer of the Year” in IT in New York by US News & World Report/Best Lawyers.
