He has also defended hundreds of insureds and self-insureds against general liability claims arising from products, pharmaceuticals, premises conditions, highway and trucking accidents, and alcohol, to list just a few. Bill manages the fact-development, issue analysis, strategic planning, and interpersonal relationships that lead to successful litigation outcomes.

For clients with large, complex litigation portfolios, Bill provides day-to-day, national litigation management services, overseeing the defense of hundreds of cases. Bill retains local counsel, coordinates consistent pleadings and discovery responses, and manages complex insurance coverage issues.

For insurers, Bill analyzes insurance coverage and defends insurers against inappropriate claims by policyholders. He defends first-party actions and provides reliable coverage opinions with respect to the scope and priority of coverage.

Beyond litigation, however, Bill has extensive business experience. Bill is a chairman, officer, and director on the boards of a national organization that provides a full range of residential and health care services to 18,000 seniors in retirement communities around the country. Bill has served on the Executive, Risk Management, Operations, Governance, Diversity and Inclusion, and Nominating committees.
