William E. Underwood Jr. concentrates his practices in the areas of corporate and trusts and estates law. With extensive experience handling complex business and environmental litigation, he has also advised and represented clients on public airport regulatory and litigation exposure matters.
In addition to representing corporate and government entities, Bill has been legal counselor to high-net-worth individuals, advising them in such areas as business succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning and wealth preservation and closely held corporate issues, including issues related to differing interests of participants in business partnerships and joint ventures, corporate finance and key employee planning.
During law school, Bill served on the board of editors and was associate editor of the North Carolina Law Review.
