Bill Kiniry engages in all aspects of civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on commercial litigation, product liability, mass torts and consumer protection class actions.

Bill has served as national counsel for two major motorcycle manufacturers and serves as national trial counsel for a number of automotive manufacturers and automotive component manufacturers in product liability cases, mass torts and a wide variety of consumer protection class actions. He has served as chairman of several Joint Defense Teams in mass tort and Superfund litigation, and has tried a wide variety of environmental and petroleum products cases for producers and component parts suppliers. He is national counsel for a leading crane and hoist manufacturer, and leads the firm's asbestos litigation practice. He has tried product liability, mass tort and consumer protection class actions throughout the nation.

Domestically and internationally, Bill assists clients in building "virtual law firms", heading teams of lawyers handling national class actions and commercial litigation worldwide. He has traveled internationally to produce documentary films for multinational corporations in support of their litigation and marketing interests in the United States and abroad.

Bill is co-chair of the firm's Product Liability and Mass Torts Practice Group and is a member of the firm's Diversity and Inclusion Committee. He has served as Office Managing Partner, Office Head of Litigation and as a member of DLA Piper's Policy Committee.
